Misty Comes to Town

This weekend Misty came to town because some of her friends wanted to throw her a baby shower in anticipation of the newest addition to the family. So Friday night Mom and I drove down to Lehi to spend some time with her.

Mom made Misty two beautiful blankets... a white one for the blessing and this beautiful pink one with the ribbon.

Mom handmade this gorgeous dress. It is going to look beautiful on her!

Then on Sunday I went down to the Fox family home and had dinner with the gang and Misty and Misty's brother Charles. After dinner the kids pulled out their hat collection ...

Sunday Evening with the Barkers

Last week the Barkers were kind enough to invite me over for Sunday dinner after Conference. Of course I had my camera with me and was able to take some fun pics. As you can tell Tristan was the hit of the night!

Amanda had some fun surprising Jake with a smudge of makeup on his face and had so much fun doing it she had to complete the look! Doesn't he look pretty!?!? ;o)

Really, Really Great News!

News I have been wanting to hear for a very long time was announced this morning! Indiana is finally getting a temple in the city of Indianapolis! Congratulations to the people in that area!

A Name and A Blessing

This morning Mom and I attended the blessing of my newest nephew George Russell. This is an important event for new babies in our faith, it is when they are blessed and their name is written on the records of the church.

Mom made his cute little blessing outfit and I think he looked dashing in it. Such a handsome little man!

New Adventure

So I have been trying some new things lately and the most recent addition is making announcements. I have had a lot of good feedback so I have added them to my site. I do baby announcements, wedding announcements, and christmas or holiday cards.

Delicious Joy

One of the true joys of this life is …

Yep. Chocolately goodness in the form of the Great Wall of Chocolate from PF Chang. Thanks to my mother we were able to enjoy this after our meal last night. Six layers of chocolate cake topped with chocolate frosting and chocolate chips and served over a raspberry sauce along with some fresh fruit. Oh YUM!

A Saturday Wedding

Well we thought it might never happen but one of the Barker boys got married! ;o)

All joking aside I was priviledged to get to spend Saturday night with the Barker family as they celebrated in the wedding of Jake and his new bride Amanda. It was an intimate gathering of family and friends as these two started their lives together.
