Vacation: Day One

I am officially on vacation. I arrived at BWI last night and the first eventful experience of my trip was that my luggage hadn't made it on to my flight. So I went over to the baggage claim desk to find out what could be done. They said that it would come on the next flight at 11:00 pm. Unfortunately because Peter & Laura live outside of their driving area they offered to FedEx my suitcase to me, but it wouldn't arrive at their house until Tuesday. I was unhappy with this because who wants to go naked for three days. They told me I could come back and pick it up and they would give me a $100 voucher for a future trip. Laura and I discussed this and decided this would be the best solution. So Peter, Laura, Kaylee and I decided to get some dinner in Baltimore and then come back. We drove down by the water and made a stop at the Hard Rock Cafe so I could purchase a city pin for my collection. Then we had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, which happens to be one of my all time favorite restaraunts. The food is just as good as in Salt Lake but we happened to look out over the bay while eating dinner. It was beautiful.

After dinner we managed to get my luggage back and then headed back to Falls Church to head to bed.
