Vacation: Day Seven

Friday started at Virginia Beach. It was super hot and the waves felt so nice. I haven't been to the ocean in years and Kaylee was so excited to be at the beach.

Laura & Kaylee head out to the water.

Kaylee found that the water was a bit cold.

Peter & Laura help Kaylee stay out of the way of the waves.

Kaylee kept talking about going down the BIG slide.

Such a cute little family!

Laura and I sat on the edge of the water and let the waves lap over our legs.

Occassionally the waves caught us by surprise!

Kaylee loved the sand.

After the beach Laura, Kaylee & I decided to go back in to Williamsburg and go to the Yankee Candle Village. They had every scent of candle you could imagine!

We dipped our own candles in the colored wax.

Kaylee had fun in the toy area. Here she was a princess.

And then Laura & Kaylee posed as Gingerbread people in the Christmas section of the village.

Kaylee loved that it snowed there!

It was a really fun adventure for everyone. We finished the night at Friendly's and then headed back to Falls Church.
